Hey everyone, I've been basically looking for a bike that can go anywhere without any maintenance at all. I love MTBs and flat bars, I've tried many gravel bikes and even though they are amazing they are not really for me.

These are my options I can afford:

  1. Sonder Frontier Deore: https://eu.alpkit.com/products/sonder-frontier-deore
  2. Sonder Broken Road ST Deore: https://eu.alpkit.com/products/broken-road-st-deore
  3. Titus Silk Road: https://planetx.co.uk/products/titus-silk-road-sram-gx-titanium-adventure-bike

I have been thinking this over and over and I'm about to take the Titus Silk Road, this is because I like that it's a Titanium Frame and apparently the geometry is more suited to my adventuring needs (I want the bike to still be fast-ish on pavement, and that it can go anywhere without any hassle). The Sonder Frontier is my runner up, there is nothing I dislike from it, but is this better than a Titus Silk Road? I've been looking around and it seems like it cannot beat the Titus but I can't tell since there is nowhere for me to test both bikes up front. The Sonder Broken Road is actually the one I would like the most out of all if it wasn't because it's Steel, I have the feeling that the bike will chip away the paint and rust eventually if I go for that one, the Broken Road TI (especially the pinion one) is the dream bike I would like to have but I cannot afford.

The sad thing is that if any of these bikes would be sold in Germany (where I live) I could use something like JobRad to finance something a little bit more expensive, but since they are from the UK I cannot. Other similar German options like the Nicolai or the Tout Terrain are either too expensive or they don't have what I want (and I don't want a suspension fork, want mounting points, etc), the Tout Terrain Outback seems amazing but it's also very expensive. I was also thinking about getting a used Canyon Grand Canyon and using it for bikepacking but again they all come with suspension forks and are more specialized towards trails and performance rather than comfort and bikepacking.

Could someone help me choose?
