The only thing I know about the Specialized S-Works Road Bike has a crack on the back rim and has a carbon frame.

The Carbondale is $700 more.
Both bikes frame fit me

Which bike should I get?

  1. Definitely not the venge. It has a crack on the rim. It’s unridable until you get a new rim. Even if it wasn’t damaged, it’s extremely old. That is also an extremely uncomfortable bike.

The cannondale is a good bike, but it seems a bit overkill for a new cyclist. I think you may be more comfortable on a newer aluminum bike with disc brakes and more endurance geometry.

Also I have a feeling that the cannondale is overpriced for general riders. Rim brake supersix evo’s have a bit of a cult following. The bike will likely be priced to target that audience, not the general rider.
