Hello! There’s a lot of options in the used market for bikes in my city, but I don’t really know which one is better for the price. Would you help me figure it out?

(try a VPN in case willhaben blocks you access)

If someone has the patience to explain what to look for / how to distinguish something more valuable, I would really appreciate it.

I work as a rider, basically delivering food by bike, the city has lots of cycling paths so I’d go for something sporty. The landscape is mostly flat, but occasionally I would have to climb some steep roads. It’s also going to be cold and rainy soon, so any tips would be really welcome 🙂

Thank you for the help!

  1. Some thing to look for are how good is the groupset.A quick guide to how good a groupset is on a road bike is how many gears is has on the back wheel ( this is not always true but is good for a quick reference). Google campagnolo or shimano hierarchy to see a list how good the groupset is .One think to keep in mind is carbon frames are more delicate then aluminium. Overall condition of the bike and it’s parts a chain and tyres could cost 60-70 € (I am from England so this is a guess. The bike also needs to be the right size for you .
Trantura is probably the best bike but is not Carbon only the rear is. The worst value bike is the Fuji 1.0.
