It’ll be curious to see if the hardtail gravel bike (drop bar hardtail mtb?) trend catches or if it remains a niche product. IME most trails that necessitate front suspension are so much harder to ride on drops; in the same vein, mellow terrain rideable from drops doesn’t require suspension.
