Saw this posted at a garage sale. I have been thinking about buying an old steel Japanese bike to restore/restomod. Is this a good steel bike? Any idea what year? Is it actually cool?
I imagine for $40 it's worth just snatching it just because that's very cheap.
Looks like it's got 27" wheels and Fuji vx groupset.
Reasonable project bike to pick up and restore, or something I should avoid? Is this actually cool or am I falling for pseudo-cool.
Also does anyone know what it is? My Google searching on Fuji royales show they're step over bikes I haven't seen much info on step through Fuji royales.
Ps. Yes it's my size I have a very small inseam.

It’s not the shortest seat tube I’ve seen if you have a short inseam, but worth a try certainly. Some people love mixtes, think it doesn’t particularly matter if it’s a “high end” one, the frame design helps to cover for some of that and avoid transferring road vibrations up to the rider.
