Unless you show me the inside of the casing w/o a slice then no.
A cut that long, especially when into the sidewall, which is (typically) far weaker than the casing under the tread, is a no-go.

I wouldn’t risk it, and didn’t last weekend with the exact same issue. Replace this to avoid ruining your race.
I also moved away from tan sidewalls as they are (apparently) weaker than black.

Nope. Damage to sidewalls is terminal, A cut that long is terminal. Add them both together…..

It’ll might last 40km. But it might not. And you’ve probably got a lot more invested in this race than the cost of a new tire.
