Looking to get into triathlon as I’ve been a swimmer and runner my whole life.
Want to get a good bike that will hopefully last me a while without breaking the bank. Is this worth it for $1950?
It’s a Pinarello Gan S T700, carbon fiber. Listing says it was bought new in 2019 with moderate riding since 2023.
Let me know what you guys think as I’m a complete newbie to this!

Need a pic from the other side, homie
It’s a 2018. https://www.bicyclebluebook.com/value-guide/2018%20Pinarello%20Gan%20S/?condition=GOOD
Lament.
You asked “how about this bike?” without showing us the chain side in your photo. Hard to help you without seeing the parts that make the bike go.
I have a 2017 Gan S, its my main roadie right now. It’s a very nice bike, paid $3000 for it new back in 2018.
The REAL question though is whether it fits you. If it doesn’t fit it’s a total waste of money.
No, it is not worth the price. I owned that model year Gan S and still own a Dogma F10, cant recommend it. For that price you can get a modern entry level disc brake bike or a used tri bike which would suit your needs better.
