originally bought a 92/93 antelope 820 as a project for my brother. it was a 16.5” but i stretched everything out to make it work. ended up just still feeling slightly small/off for him. he then later bought himself a sweet 88 high sierra.
stumbled on this neglected singletrack – 18” size with a stuck seatpost. combined the best pieces of this and the antelope into its final form as the 950 lugged dad donut runner.
deore lx drivetrain, and the local co-op helped me source a sweet suntour friction shifter for the front triple which i put on the stem for gits and shiggles. it’s my fav part.
once the wheels wear out that will be the last thing to upgrade. 2.3 tire up front, 2.1 in back. swapped all the quick releases so i can lock it up easier.

Absolutely gorgeous! Nice work.
Beautiful build! Is that an old NVA “sturmgepäcktasche” as the rear pannier?
Nicely done! [*r/SingleTrackGang*](https://www.reddit.com/r/SingleTrackGang/new/)/
