Hey, any advice on this issue? When the lowest gear is selected the rear mech hits the frame and the chain rubs the rear stay. Maybe the chain is incorrectly sized? Adding a bit of tension to the chain lifts the rear mech off the frame rear stay. Brand new out of box from canyon.

Adjust the B-screw. You should be able to move it off the stay.
Follow sram’s guide to set the tension correctly. Without the adjustment tool you can eye ball with a corresponding size hex key (sticking it between upper pulley and cassette cog)
Just return it
Does it also do this at sag? Like when you’re sitting on the bike? Or only when you have the bike upside down.

It might be that the rear mech is still in ‘setup key’ mode. Place the bike back on its wheels and gently pull the derailleur cage forward a cm or two, and then gently allow it to go back to its natural position. If that does nothing, my best bet is that the chain is not sized correctly.
