Despite their somewhat goofy looks on a Brompton imo, I really liked the Ergon GP1 grips on my bike. But they came with a practical issue. We use these Vincita bags/boxes to transport our 2 Bromptons in the back of our van. The 'cheeks' from Ergons made my bike just too wide for the bag when folded, making it a struggle to get it in & out.
So I fitted these black leather Manoli grips. A stiff price tag but beautifully made by hand. They have a slightly larger diameter than the standard rubber Brompton grips, which I like. During a short ride they feel very nice.
If anything, they sure look a lot better together with the Brooks than the Ergons did. 😎

I have a set of red/maroon ones and love the quality, softness, and the larger diameter makes the rider feel safer and softer.
