Went on a little ride yesterday, taking it easy because i was sick the whole week. Everything's going well when suddenly I'm going over the handlebars. Little piece of a twig got caught in the wheel, collected the brake line and got stuck on the fork while seizing the brakes, all in probably half a second. I was more in shock than in pain I think.
The 6 spoke wheels dont seem so stupid to me now.

Man that’s an unlucky one! I once somehow flicked up a huge rock from my front wheel and broke a toe – weird physics in action!
Dayum! This is a bit of a fear of mine when mountain biking, sometimes you’re just going too fast to see all the little sticks.
Hopefully the spokes / tensions are all ok, worth checking it.
If it were me I would probably replace the brake line but maybe it’ll be ok too, certainly watch for leaks very carefully.
