DUDE, as someone that drives and does cycling, the thrill of passing a lineup of vehicles stuck in traffic is the BEST feeling ever! It’s amazing.

  2. I could see biking being %75 of my commuting if I lived someplace without winter. 🥶

  3. “I never see people using that bike lane..”

Yeah because you aren’t staring at the back of our helmet for 27 minutes on one stretch of road!

  4. You forgot to mention the crossing of la 100 which is absolutely horrible especially for bikes, but yeah in the most congested city in the world it’s amazing to pass by

What if all the car drivers are disabled elderly people who can’t ride a bike? Would you still call them losers?

  6. Thinking “I’d be mad too if I spent a thousand dollars a month to go slower than me.”

  7. Great; glad it works for you. I’m 56 with medical conditions and I live in a town where it’s common to hit 100+ f in multiple months. Cycling isn’t an option for me. But sure, call me a loser for it.

  8. Idk man. Ás someone who commute regularly on bike as much as i can. There are times i need to carry heavy (and expensive ) photography equipment. I have no choice sometimes.

Calling other ppl losers based on their mode of transport is …..kinda a loser itself imo. Know other people perspective. Always.

Love it. Motorists cluelessly be like “why can’t we have our own private lane?”

  10. Best feeling ever. Especially when they stare at you and daydream about going to the bike shop on the way home.

  11. I was just looking at a massive parking lot today thinking how much space cars waste and what our spaces would look like without them.

I have these moments on my commute. It’s a great feeling. But I know there are some good people in this. I always hope to convince someone that sees me passing by with speed to think “Damn why I am doing this all week, next week I will be on my bike. THis is stupid”.

  13. I hate every moment I have to drive a car, sadly it’s a lot of moments and far too often.
