hi all, do the loose bearings go inside and lay inside the little gap or where the white arrow is pointing more on the surface ? i can’t for the life of me remember
Maybe just for people who stumble into this post, it’s worth noting that the loose bearings need a little room to move without getting smashed by the neighbors. There’s usually a small gap remaining upon placing the bearings in the race, but if they happen to fit perfectly with no gap, remove one.
Spec sheets for hubs should specify the bearing count, but that’s not always easy info to locate.
