Built up my grail bike with Campagnolo 9 Speed except for the compact crankset so I could run 52/36 in the front along with 13-29 in the rear. Been itching to find this frame and build it up for over 5 years. Thanks to u/CommonCondition for the link to France Craigslist, without that link, not sure any of this would have happened.

Sweet bike! The raw lightly polished campy stuff looked so much better than what they do now. The great thing about the older campy shifters is they’re rebuildable and you can swap out the ratchet for 9,10 or 11 speed.
Oh…….SON OF A BITCH!!!!….that is sensational.
That looks phenomenal.
Very pretty build !
If you don’t mind what bicycle stem do you have on it, and where did you find it? I have a similar bike but with a modern stem, and I want to get a more classic look down the line.
Clean and beautiful! That’s an awesome bike!
Really cool. I think these are Billato-made frames with a Time fork . Billato made frames for everyone around this time. Top quality stuff. I started racing in 1989 so the chromed lugs and rear triangle has always been a look I love. The logos on the seat stays are so cool. That 3TTT stem is really nice and I like the bar tape you picked. I’ll bet this is a super smooth and surprisingly fast ride. These old race bikes are much faster than people think.
