Scotland is our favourite place and we love exploring new cities so this trip ticked a lot of boxes.
As part of an East Coast Scotland trip we spent the evening and a full day in Aberdeen. A great city with tons of maritime history, both modern and historical buildings and plenty of things to see and do.
It gets bonus points for being along the coast and having a beach! Plus a few miles away you have Drum and Crathes castles, making it the perfect location for a visit.
A lot of the museums were free to visit, and there were lots of open spaces to sit and enjoy.
