I was installing new RaceFace Aeffect R cranks and I accidently forgot to put on the drive side spindle spacer (first pic circled in purple). I'm guessing the male spindle sank a little deeper into the female opening than supposed to and took off some material from the splines. The material loss seems to be fairly superficial. I have since installed them properly and they seem good — tighten down well and there is no play.
Anything to be concerned about?

This shouldn’t be caused by missing spacers, this is due to not having the correct/enough tension when putting on the crankarm.
