Im trying to find a good setup for my Omnium Mini-Max E-conversion.
Still need a bit more reach and raise.
Surly Sunrise didnt work out.
Bar-Ends are coming close to a good position but the hope stem is too short im afraid.
I think I have to sacrifice some cargo stack-height for more reach.
This machine is working on a 60km round-trip commute with long flat stretches where an upright position doesnt work well.
Any suggestions?
The bar right now is some generic ebay stuff.

I am thinking of getting these [redshift](https://redshiftsports.com/products/top-shelf-handlebar-system) bars with the 70mm rise. What stem do you use? I think I want an even more upright position with a bit more rise in the stem but not too much forward. Do they even make that?
Pretty sure, other than drop bars or bullhorns there isn’t a handle bar, which will give you more reach in the normal hand positions.
Try a longer stem with what you’ve got and see how it feels. You’ve got a huge space from the luggage platform to the bars, so I dont think you’ll be sacrificing much.
If you’re still struggling, have a look at the alt bars on bikepacking.com https://share.google/abiM4RTeSk80NiITb (promise its not a sus link)
The surly Moloko has some sweep, but also has the front cargo loop you can use like the bar ends you’re using currently. With a longer stem, this could work. There is also a bunch of other bars with cargo loops on there too.
Just be wary of stretching yourself out too much. 60km is a huge distance, and you run the risk of doing real damage if your position isn’t right. Just change 1 thing at a time.
Good luck!
A longer positive stem will give you more reach and more rise. If you’re getting close and like the setup, don’t try changing anything else.
