My cassette moves back and forth when my wheel is on my bike in this motion. When I took it off I noticed it's due to this. Is this normal? Or, should it at least not move my cassette when on the frame?

Could be the freehub body is loose. You can is 15 and 17mm cone spinners to remove the cone and axle, and then try a 10mm Allen wrench to tighten the freehub up (standard threading). Be careful, good chance there are loose bearings that will fall out when you take the axle out.
