Hey everyone, my son has been spending lots of time with his friend at the pump track in the past year. That friend recently took him to a DH park and he LOVED it and is convinced he needs a DH bike now. Is the bike priced appropriately?
Also, I've read this bike is pretty heavy and not fun to pedal, but I'm wondering if it's really that bad? Primarily my son would be using this to go to and from school every day and taking it often to the pump track and only occasionally to a DH bike park.
Thanks for your help! This world is new to us but we're getting lots of exposure because he's constantly watching DH MTB racing on tv!

That would be a little overpriced for the PNW, but not sure what the market is like in DC.
It’s just about the opposite of what you would want to ride on a pump track and to school, but kids are willing to put up with a lot more in order to have a cool bike.
The biggest question I have is how tall is your son. That’s a 24″ kids bike.
Seems very expensive
