My girlfriend just got her new Domane 47cm. As soon as I put my usual choice of bottle cages, I found out the xsmall frame makes it impossible to take out or put in bottles without knocking or rubbing the top tube. Is there any recommendation of other cages for xs bikes?

Trek makes sideload cages.

While there are side load cages, I’d start to try normal sized (0.5l) bottles instead of the large ones.
I use 16 oz and 13 oz bottles with side loading cages on my Checkpoint XS size frame. The 13 oz bottle gives enough clearance for my frame bag. It rubs but at least allows me to have two bottles.
Does that bike have a third cage mount on the down tube?

I also ride a 47 cm Domane. I just ended up getting smaller bottles
