It would have been nice i de Lie's handlebar broke when he banged on it and he fell over. It was not the poor bike's fault that the peloton started racing too late.

That said, this was utter malpractice from the peloton. 12 seconds at 2K to go on a breakaway rider and they couldn’t catch him?

Great win but riding for Ireland doesn’t quite make you Irish but hey ho lots of nations do it.
