I have these brakes ( semi-hydraulic HB100 brakes) The problem with my bike is that I realized that the old pads only fit because they were worn, when I changed them there was no more space for the disc.
The adjustment screw is at the max I can't spread them any further with it

You can just use a plastic tire lever to push against the pads to push the pistons in.
Use the old pads, push the piston back with a flat screw driver
1. Remove new pads.
2. Reinstall old pads.
3. Use a tire lever or flathead screwdriver to push them back.
4. Reinstall new pads.
5. Buy me a beer.
Small c clamp is the best way to do it if you have one. Sometimes cracking the bleeder will help if it keeps trying to rebound.
Is there a bleed screw somewhere? I have TRP semi-hydraulic one and never got any problem to push the pistons back.
It seems the piston can be gummed up dry, it’s common with HB100 since they’re budget calipers and not always well-greased.
Try and get hold of a couple of those Magura yellow wedges/brake spacers. They work well.
Do you have the screw at the lever reservoir open? If not you won’t be able to move the pistons that much
