I’ve always wanted to visit Lithuania (Robertas is a good salesman)… “how about we bikepacking along the Baltic Coast?!”… a few months later flights were booked, bike was bought, and a plan was hatched. We’d ride along the EuroVelo 10, along the beautiful Baltic coast and then divert after the Lithuania/Latvia Border to the Baltic Forest Hiking trail. Take some tents and a stove, and the rest will work itself out.

Latvia and Lithuania were beautiful. A real gem; the coastlines, the forests, the beaches, the houses, the food, the storks, the history…. and the homemade kvass (in Latvia) or gira (in Lithuania), and particularly in the countryside – the tranquility.
