No axle will hit the edge of the dropout
You can verify by getting the length of your link’s center-to-center by the pins and by comparing how much you can move your rear hub’s axle around.
I’ve done this on my Volume Trasher’s dropouts by adding two links before and swapping one tooth bigger on my chainring – My axle went from being close towards the chainstay to far away from it but not sticking out of my dropout including the axle nut.
