Hi! I am exploring the world of road bike, I. In My lifetime I always use the classic "lady's bike" with the basket at the front (LOL).
As I sign up for a sprint triathlon in December 2026 (yes next year) I kinda need to re-learn how to use a proper bike.
I am kinda cheap atm and don't want to splurge a lot of money if then I don't use it.
Thinking of getting my KMs riding to work and back (8km each way) and I was looking to these 2 bikes Polygon Stratton S4 and Trek Domane AL4.
Any recommendation? Are the above bike good?

Polygon for me has always had good specs on oarts installed but trek has that premium feel or should I say Trek bikes are like Toyotas to cars.
