This bike is wild. I got a cheap dynamo front wheel from ebay, a sturmey archer 3 speed cheap from a local shop, then made it a 6 speed by throwing 2 shimano alfine cogs on the hub driver. It shifts kind of like a brompton.
I had a Fiji Royale that I bought new in the late 70s. It was a step up from the Raleigh Grand Prix it replaced, but in a fit of stupidity I sold it. Congrats on keeping one rolling.

Cool, didn’t know you could do this! What’s the max number of hub cogs you can reasonably add, and what kind of extra range can you get?
