Got a replacement sent to me but the manufacturer warranty required I destroy the previous pair. Any recommendations on ways to try to save these as a backup pair? Is there a glue strong enough to hold them together?

Super glue but add bicarbonate of soda. The bicarb helps it stick ….but it will show up as a white residue. So sprinkle just a little bit across the top of the crack after you press the parts together.
