Was finding an upgrade for my shitty Chinese cable actuated hydraulic brakes, and I stumbled upon this. Both pairs of the rotors and calipers are currently priced at $18 (used). Should I buy it? How can I check if they are good when I get to meet the seller?Thank y'all.

That is a good deal, those rotors themselves are $15-20 each (they’re low end, but work fine, I have some). I can’t comment on the quality of those Shimano brakes compared to other branded mechanical disk calipers, but I guarantee they’re better than no brand chinese stuff.
