Please help! My apartment has a wall rack for bikes like this in the garage but I struggle to understand how to properly hang my bike on it. Best I can manage is to clumsily lift the bike over my head and wedge the handlebars between the prongs and the wall, but that’s really badly scratching up my handlebars and often my seat. I don’t understand what the hooks are for and what part of the bike they are supposed to support since every rack is a little different.

I’m assuming you’re meant to hang your front wheel off it
Need a better picture of the entire rack please.
Your front wheel hangs from one of the hooks. You can then lock your frame to one of the hoops.
Hang your front wheel from the hook, then lock your frame to the tube next to the bike.
I feel like that’s only going to work with road bikes. The hook looks small for MTB and fat tires c
