PSA for those concerned about my sandy mistreatment of Willo' (of course he has a name!). This is his usual habitat, resting up, safe and dry whilst I'm hard at work 😊

I do genuinely love these wee bikes. Fantastic workhorses, a joy to cruise around looking for graffiti, nip to the shops, take to the trails with the family (I'm not crazy – I swap out the tyres when visiting the woods)… I also think the G is amazing but I'm increasingly unconvinced about getting one. Maybe I'm too emotionally attached to this bike, but I think this ride will see me out.

Huh. Didn't expect this post to go here. But what do you think about Brompton's current direction of commercial travel? Is bigger (bike/company), really better?

Such a beauty. My main brompton is also my favourite bike and it will always have a place in my heart as it just revived my love for cycling,

I think options are great, and people like their G-Lines. I think a healthy company supporting their products is important. The new headquarter will be a big investment and will increase capacity. I do hope they will use the capacity to serve the lower end of the price range. These days, not many can afford a boutique bike.

The CEO Will says the right things, hope they stay on course. My example where he says things and the company does otherwise is upgradability. I would gladly put some money on the table to upgrade my C-Line to a P-Line, but I can’t officially.
