Women and Men elite races from World Mountainbike Orienteering Championships, Poland 2025

Heat Heat. Heat. Hello and good morning for this longd distance race at the 2025 World Mountain Bike Orenering Championships in Warso, Poland. Another sunny and hot day awaits us for this uh long long distance race. The arena you might recognize from the Mastart race earlier this week. It’s the same uh arena, this former sports airfield which my commentator colleague Holly already described for you on Thursday. Uh just southeast of the Polish capital um soon to become a shopping center and so on. This is the start list for today’s uh women’s race. Uh we will start with the women in this broadcast and later uh switch over to the men’s race. Uh as you can see we’re coming closer to the end of the start list 45 competitors in the women’s race and the favorites of course at the end of the start list. You can see one of them there with bib number 235, Nicolenus Pl from Denmark, the big favorite. She is not only the defending champion in this distance, but also the dominator of this sport the past year. She won all the races at the European Champs in Lithuania early this earlier this year and also the Mustard race on Thursday. This is the women’s course. Let’s have a look. The shortest route uh for the women’s is 35 kilometers and 360 m of elevation. The winning time is expected to be 105 to 115 minutes. So almost a 2 hours race for the fastest in this hot conditions here in Poland. It’s about 26° C right now. and we can expect temperatures up to 29° later today. We also have some TV controls out there for you. One of them is control number 10 as you can see there at the arena. Uh also control number six earlier in the race is a TV control also control number 13 and then control number 20. There is a map exchange for all the athletes. Uh because you can see all the lines and controls here on the map. They are going across each other. So it would be really difficult to manage to take the controls in the right uh order when you see them on the map. You can also see that there are loads of tracks in this area, this flat area just southeast of uh Waro. There are a lot of dunes and uh but most of the tracks are really fast to bike on. Some are a bit more sandy and some of them are damaged by horses and horses will also be a topic we can discuss tomorrow at the relays race. Uh we’ll come back to that tomorrow. These are the splits from the radio control after 9.5 kilometers. And you could see that the favorite all already is indeed the Nicolina Splitf from Denmark. All the women have already started. Uh so we’re a bit late, but uh you have uh not missed anything in this broadcast because we don’t have a camera at the start today. Um, we hopefully can soon expect some uh competitors towards the finish here. I will have a look on the GPS if this is the case. Yeah, hopefully. Hopefully. Yeah, a long day is ahead of us, ladies and gentlemen. Four and a half hours mountain bike oreering here on the IF live stream. uh with together with me. My name is Lucas Diningo and I will comment these races for you the today and also tomorrow. Here we get a first glimpse of the terrain. This is one of our radio control and we can now see approaching Casarella from Finland. She is uh she has done a really good week this week. She won the sprint race earlier this week and was third in middle distance and fourth in the master race. She’s also she also was on the podium in all races at the European Championships in Lithuania. Not a gold medal but a second place, a third place and another second place. So for sure one of the girls to have a look at today. uh probably also a metal candidate. But since it is mountain bikeing, we first know in the finish who are the medalists. And there’s a lot of time to uh wait and uh see and hopefully some interesting uh battles as well. Uh now she uh should uh approach to the control really soon. Ruska Sarella. Uh she has some climb left as I can see on the GPS. And you can see there are many athletes out there in the forest because it’s not only the world championships for men and women but also for the juniors and they have all started at the in the same uh time window. So there are many athletes out there in the forest today. I’m not 100% sure if we have missed Ruskasa or if she hasn’t approached yet due to the delay on the GPS. It’s a bit difficult to say. I think we could see a we saw a Finnish uh jersey there earlier. These are the GPS from the top athletes so far from the beginning. You see them all really close together. Nicolina split off Marikahara and Ruska Sarella. A really tight race there in the beginning. All on the same rout until now where Marikahara from Finland went a bit more to the right down to the fifth control. and she lost quite some time there. But after that, that was really interesting to see. Between control 5 and six, there were Nicolina split off and Ruskasara took different route choices there. And it seems that Ruskasara is slightly ahead of the Danish right now. Yeah, we must have missed her at that or I have missed her at the TV control. You probably did not. This was control number six where we had the TV camera and as I said earlier, there’s will also be TV cameras at control number 10, 13 and 20. So, we’ll get quite uh look uh quite some uh look at the athletes out there. Let’s have a closer look at the start lists and uh let’s have a look towards the top athletes. If we start with those who have been doing good at the world champs last year in Bulgaria, then uh we already named the last year’s winner. Nicolina split off second at the long distance race. Last year was Martina Tikovska from Czecha. She is uh starting as the last or she was starting as the last one in the field today. And then on third place we had Camila Surg from Denmark. She is at the moment on the second split at the second position at the first split time at just 3 seconds behind her teammate Splitoff. And Ruskas Sara which we saw earlier, she was eighth at the long distance last year. She’s only 10 seconds behind splitoff. So the top athletes are really close together there. We’re back in the forest with Antonia Haga from Finland. She is uh she was 13th in the last year’s long champs and this week she did a decent race in the mass start where she was in the top 10 as the 10th athlete 18th position in the world ranking for now the 36year-old athlete from Finland’s The control which you can see here is control number 10 and also control number 20. the control just outside the arena where we expect Antonia Haga to pass really soon. She uh has one uh loop to go. She cannot uh go towards the finish. Here we can see her You understand? So this is the arena passage after half of the race. There we can see the athlete from Finland again, Antonia Haga. She cannot take uh the she cannot uh bike towards the finish yet. She has one more loop to go. There is also a map exchange just uh behind that uh airfield house you can which we saw there. She’s uh biking towards that one at uh right now. And now we also got the split time of her. She is uh there after 48 minutes and 54 seconds and she is the leader at the moment at this arena passage. almost. And the athlete we are waiting for now is a really interesting girl. Ladies and gentlemen, we are waiting for Iris Aurora Pecorari from Italy. She’s only 21 years old and she has never raced at the World Champs before and that’s because she was still a junior last year and what she did at last year’s junior world championships was quite impressive. She won uh three of four Now the third Our Hallelujah. This is As you can see on the GPS, uh many of the athletes uh go straight into those areas with houses there on the left side of the map towards control 8. They’re allowed to do so as long as they keep uh going on the black tracks as always in motorbike oreering. Um really interesting route choice here. Um but it seems that all the top athletes are going for the same route choice there. No toilet. You’re welcome. Hand it up. What’s Foreign speech. Foreign speech. Hallelujah. 5957. 172. Another country. All right. live stream spectators. We have been facing some technical issues here, but now it seems that we’re back on track for these competition. Uh let’s summarize what is happening right now. As you can see uh Nicolina Splitoff is now biking together in a group or you cannot see it yet but she is uh together with some other athletes there. One of them is Osina Yaki from Switzerland which has been starting just ahead of the Danish and they will probably catch up to uh Marisa Costa from Portugal quite soon as well and then there will be all biking together and also Selen from Switzerland is not so far away any more. So this duo is uh biking super fast out there now catching on more and more athletes but at the same time the gaps at the at this uh control there super close to the area they are still uh super small um or they will be super small because we uh we see that the top athletes, they were super close together at the first radio control earlier in the race. Splitoff was leading uh just ahead of Camila and on third we had Ruska Sarah. They were all biking super close together and as you can see on the GPS uh split off seem to be slightly ahead of Sila but in between them we should see Camila Surgard somewhere. So the top three athletes at the moment they are super close together. coming. to the board was the second Double door. Right. in the forest again. And you could see from Finland there at the next radio control at the radio control after the arena earlier. That was control number 13 which she just she just passed there. And now I also can provide you with a proper um with proper big times from the arena passage where the top three athletic have passed. Yes, he’s in the lead just about one and a half minutes ahead of us from and then Camila is now down on third place. Sarah could catch up with her and has a small small gap now about 20 seconds. So, it’s still a super tight race there in the top. Now, you can see the GPS of Splitoff and Yaki. Uh, but it is a bit confusing because it is not a live position of both of them because Splitoff and Yaki there are out there together right now. But uh what the GPS is showing you is the live position of Splitoff and the gap down to Yaki. Uh Splito is quite some time ahead of Yaki. She caught up to her. So that’s why there is a gap because she’s uh simply biking faster today. You can see Yi is on spot number four there. just those two minutes down which is the gap she had at the start. The athletes are starting with in 2 minutes interval today. Quite a short interval for such a long race in my opinion. Uh which uh makes it quite easy for the racers to catch up to each other. Dilda Palna from Sweden should be at the Arena Passage super soon. She on my GPS screen she has passed the control ahead of this arena passage quite uh just some seconds ago and she will be here super super soon. Um yeah, somewhere between fourth and fifth place probably for the Swedish athlete, the 22year young at she got the bronze medal on the sprint race earlier this week and a strong sixth place in Middle East. So good so far for this week. Two music coming. There we can see her the Swedish athlete fixing with her map holder preparing for the map exchange which is just around the corner. some refreshments for her as well on this super hot day here in Poland. And now we are with the big group around the leader. Uh you can see Osina Yaki there with the white and red Swiss jersey. She’s one of the athletes biking together. We’ve split off at the moment. And there is also Portuguese athlete Marisa Costa. We have a French athlete Costans Deair. We have the athlete from Czecha, Rosali Korova. And then Danish Splito. They’re all biking together at the moment. Uh Splitoff who uh caught up to all of them. She was the last starter. And uh yeah, there is no forkings left on the rest of the track. So uh basically they can just follow each other now for the rest of the race. So it will probably be a physical torture for some of the athletes now when they are biking together with the dominant girl of the last seasons in mountain biker interior Nicolina split off. We will see who can uh keep the speed together with her. Um, Osina Yaki is doing really strong so far. The Swiss athlete. She’s 37 years old. Also, she did quite a decent week so far. She was eight in middle distance and ninth in sprint distance. And uh also she caught up to all the athletes uh except of split off. So she is uh doing quite a decent performance today as well. We saw her earlier on the splits as well. She was on fifth position if I remember right there at the arena passage. At the sixth position she was there. So, uh she is uh doing a really solid performance as well. And there we can see the Danish. There she is with the white helmet and the red jersey. Nicolina split off. One athlete still biking ahead of her. And now it seems that there might be some gap already behind her. Is she biking away from the rest of the group? That will be really interesting to see now on the upcoming meters. Uh because this could be really decisive for the athletes behind her in that group. If they cannot follow her anymore, they have to do the map reading by themselves again. We will see super soon as the group is getting closer to control number 13 where we have another camera, another fixed camera at the control. The picture you can see right now. And you also can see they have uh or split off has quite a gap left. And now this big big group is at the control with several athletes here. It’s difficult to uh see all of them but split off Yaki Dea and Kuharova were for sure part of this group and they were all going into top ranks at the moment here at this split time. Still all of them together. The group did not separate that much as I might have expected as it looked on the picture with the biking camera. Um so the horrendous speed is something which uh several athletes here can keep up with. Hopefully also for the rest of race or hopefully for them. Yeah. I mean following the world champion is uh quite a good thing for many of them. There you can see the split times from the arena passage with uh Sara on second. She was not part of that group. She is uh biking out there for herself at the moment, but she might catch up to Seline Valenc from Switzerland quite soon. The gap between them is uh getting smaller and smaller and they might see each other quite soon at 12 control as well because Valenito has to turn around from out from the control for her route choice and Sarah now approaching to that control. We’re back at the area where you can see all the coaches and the stuff with a lot of water and refreshments on this super hot day. lock into the door. So this is Another GPS analyzis from the race. It’s the position of Ruska Sarella 237, which is the live position at the moment. And both Splitoff and Yi are virtual. So you get a glimpse of how the standings are at the moment. So SA is a bit behind of split off. Not that much, but probably a bit too much to uh catch up. depends on Splitoff’s race in the end of this competition. There are always possibilities to makes to make mistakes or whatever. Now, it seems like there is a lag on the Danish GPS. So, this is why Savala is just going past her. So, nothing to worry for the Danish supporters yet. There we can see her Sagara approaching to the split time at contour number 13 on second place at the moment. She has quite a comfortable comfortable gap down to Osina Yaki and but the gap up to Splitoff is also quite big for the 31year-old athlete from Finland, the world champion in sprint distance and also second in the world ranking at the moment. So, it’s between her and the top athlete in world ranking at the moment from Denmark. Which are you going on? This is Cecilia Christophersonen from Denmark. quite some time behind the athlete from Denmark, 33 years old. But oh, what is she doing? Didn’t uh the punch didn’t work for her first. So, she had to turn around back to the control that lead from Denmark. She was starting quite late. That’s why she is here just now. But it seems that it is not her best day today. She was 10th in Middle Stands and 11th at the Mard race. There we can see her, the Danish athlete. She’s on the 14th spot in the world ranking as of today. And we’re out in the forest again with Camila Surgard from Denmark approaching control number 13. And as you can see, she’s following the track. And if you remember, split off enter group. They were coming off track straight to the control. and it’s actually allowed to ride off the track in this competition today. Uh it is forbidden in cultivated lands such as farmlands, foresty cultivation or similar uh but uh where they were racing towards this control. It was actually allowed which is not super usual super usual in mountain bikeing but it’s also a risk that the athletes are taking because the speed of uh riding off track is uh varying a lot in a forest like this. Back in the forest at control number 13, waiting for Tila Palm from Sweden. uh some time uh behind leading Splittof from Denmark, but not that much actually. She uh is still doing a race uh a really good race for her. Um she was 16th in the long distance at the world champs last year and this actually seems to be a better race for her if she approaches to that control soon which she uh can be able to do. She will be on the fifth spot so far. She has half a minute to go. She cannot be that far away when I check on the GPS. The 22 year old from Sweden. Cameraman searching for her there. Yeah, there she is. There she is. The blue and yellow Swedish jersey. You can see her approaching towards the control and she just made it ahead of Constance De from France on the fifth spot at the moment. Now, Tilap, which would be a strong race for her, not the best one this uh world champs as she has the bronze medal from the sprint race, but uh a really really good race by the young Swedish athletes. There you can see her on the replay. The gap up to Osayaki is quite big. But uh let’s see the race is still about seven eight controls long. There is a lot of time to gain and lose time as it is usual in this sport. that heat. What is up? Another athletes towards the finish. It is Lithuanian Kolina Mickey Vote Yodena. She is going for a seventh place today. just behind her teammate Yust Umbra and which she’s on a fifth place there at the moment. There we can see her in the finish 8 minutes 23 seconds behind the current leader Elvira Lon from Sweden. And we’re back out in the forest in the in the last part of the race, I would already say. Um, you can see you could see that the GPS of split off is still not working correctly, which uh makes it a bit difficult to follow. But at the moment, we’re following Ruska Sarella from Finland. She was on second place earlier just behind the Danish and it seems that she is doing a super stable race out there. 31 year old from Finland. We are back at the last control of the race waiting for Swiss athlete Jana Lush Alimmani. She will probably be the current leader if she approaches to that control super soon. Her GPS has stopped working as well, so we will not uh know for sure when she will be arriving here, but super soon probably. She was about 2 minutes ahead of Elvira Lon at the last radio control. So I think we can expect her at the finish very very soon or she has to. Yeah, there you can see her. The 25year-old from Switzerland biking towards the finish. She is 22nd in the world ranking so far and did a really good race on the mustard on Thursday where she was on the ninth place. Swiss athlete Jana Lush Alimmani. She also did a really solid race on the European champs earlier this year where she was eighth in the mass start. I will see what this race is worth. But you can see she has really been giving everything today in this long long distance. But as it looks uh so far, all the athletes are faster than the expected winning time. The current leader Jana Almani, she had the time of 1 hour 43 minutes, which is uh just uh ahead of the expected winning time since the winning time was expected to be between 145 until 155. So uh the girls out there are biking faster as the course setter has expected it. So a current Swiss leader here in the Finnish at this uh world championship race in the long distance here in Poland. Exhale. Back at the last control of this race, we’re waiting for a French athlete, Lugasa. She uh will probably probably come in on the new second best time. She had the winning time of Jana Lucia Alimmani has already passed but she will be ahead of Elvira Lon from Sweden as she has passed the last control right now. There she is biking towards the finish. the 27 year old from France. You can see her now biking towards the finish. She’s on 26th place in the world ranking at the moment. Uh the world champs this year were not going that well for her yet. She was 32nd in sprint, 24th in middle distance, and 27th in the mass start. So the race today looks uh as it has gone better for her. But uh let’s shift the focus out to the forest again and towards Gabriella Gustafson from Sweden approaching control number 13 there. She was the second last starter today. 20 year 28 year old from Sweden. She is a fifth in the world ranking at the moment and she already got two medals this world championships a silver medal in middle distance and a bronze medal in mass start today. She has quite lost some time already in the beginning of this race. So probably not another medal for Gustafson. We are waiting for Anna Kaminska from Poland here in the at the last control 42 years old, one of the oldest racers in the field. She was uh stable so far on these world champs on home soil, 23rd in middle distance, 23rd in sprint distance, and 22nd on the master race. As it looks right now, she will come in on a fourth intermediate time here at the finish at this former sport airfield. Goratka, just souththeast of uh the Polish capital, Warsaw. There she crossed the finish line right now. And yes, fourth position for her in finish 642 behind the current leader Antonia Haga. Where did she come from? We That’s a bit surprising to me because Oh, she must have arrived to finish uh while the TV cameras were not following her. Antonia Haga from Finland. She is a clear current leader at the moment. Uh 13816 is her time in the Finnish. Whoa. What has happened there? Um I wonder if there is a mistake somewhere but it uh doesn’t look like that. Now we must have missed her. Her GPS start stopped working quite some time ago and that’s maybe why we missed her there. So the clear current leader in the finish is Antonia Haga, 36 year old from Finland and not Yan Lucia Alammani. As I said earlier, she is in second position at the moment. This is today’s arena. As you can see, there are this is the finish. So, the athletes who are turning to the right, they’re biking towards the finish. Those who taking the left corridor there are going towards their refreshment and the map change and we are back out in the forest looking at the top athletes. So far it seems that uh Nicolina Splitoff’s GPS started to work again and she is ahead of Osinai from Switzerland. Splitoff is the current leader at the last at the second last split time about 1 and a half minutes ahead of Ruska Sarah from Finland and Osina Yaki is on current third position while Camila Zurgot from Denmark is on fourth position. A really really strong race by Swiss Wasa Yaki, 37 years old. I didn’t really had her on my uh favorite list, but uh she’s uh surprising me with a race which actually could uh be strong enough for the medals today. She has to defend that bronze medal for sure against Camila Sergot from Denmark. But uh this can be this could be a super interesting uh decisive uh fight uh later on this race. They don’t have so much time left until they’re in the finish. This is going to be so uh thrilling to see if she will manage to keep that bronze medal which she virtually has at the moment. Oh my Amen. And now we can see that Nicolina Splitov is approaching the finish. She has only control 19 left and then she will be on her way down to the last control. Control number 20 there just ahead of the finish. So we can expect her at in front of the cameras super soon. again the clear leader and the dominator of this sport over the past years is showing all her strength today as well going for the gold medal as it looks of now and she is uh still biking together with others but uh the group has changed quite significantly. She was earlier biking together with uh Yeah, other athletes than she is as of now. U one of them who actually could keep up with her is starter number 233, Constance Dea. Um on the GPS right now, it looks that they are not together because it’s a reive, but they are biking together. Um, we can expect them quite soon here at the finish as I said. And let’s see who else is still together with her. Earlier, Osina Yaki was biking together with her as well as uh as uh Czech athlete Ross Ali Kuarova, but I couldn’t see her on the GPS there. Let’s see who will show up on the camera here. Waiting for the gold medalist of this long distance race. It’s that dark red jersey that we are waiting for. And this looks like the dark red jersey and the white helmet. Yes, this is Nicolina Splitoff from Denmark approaching the finish becoming the new world champion or new and new. She is the defending world champion. So she managed to defend this gold medal here in Poland. the gold medal that she already won last year in Bulgaria. Here we can see her still fighting all the last meters towards the finish. Not celebrating at all, but fighting all the way over the finish line. Nicolina Splitter from Denmark, the new world champion if all the punches are right. She has to read out her SI of course, but uh this looks really promising. And look at the impressive gap she has at the moment. Of course, we have athletes coming coming up which are closer to her. But uh this is really strong. And now we also can see that Winai from Switzerland is at the finish. The girl which might uh be going for the bronze medal today. Uh she was biking together with split off for quite a while and then in the end it looks like that she had to let the Danish go. But the gap didn’t grow too much there. You can see her just behind her and this is a really solid race by the Swiss. She was world champion in the Middle East 2012, 13 years ago. And today it seems that she might go for an individual medal again. Yes, that looks really, really promising. So this might be gold and bronze medalist. The girls sitting next to each other, 26 year old split off and uh 11 years older Ursina Yaki and this girl might be the girl going for the silver medal. Yeah, probably she will be Ruska Sarella from Finland. She is the second best mountain bike orienteer at the moment if we trust the world ranking. And also today it looks like she will be no what has happened there. Sella punched the pre-warning control just 20 seconds ahead of Splitoff. split off must have lost quite some time in the end. Whoa, whoa, whoa. This could actually SA could be the winner of today if we trust the times. I mean, the gap is only 20 seconds. It’s 24 seconds the gap uh between them at the pre-warning control. I was wrong there with uh calling split off the world champion so far. There is uh oh this is going to be so interesting. This is going to be super thrilling. She has to approach soon if she wants to win the gold medal here. The gap is getting smaller and smaller because the clock ticking is the clock in the finish and not the clock here at the control. Now she has 40 seconds left. Oh, this is such a tight race. That’s the fight for the gold medal today, ladies and gentlemen. Sara against Splitoff, the world ranking number one against the world ranking number two. There she is. She has 20 seconds left. And the final stretch is not that far. She will be able to make it. Yes, she makes it. Sara is the world champion so far in this longd distance race here at the world champs in Poland. What a tight race. And uh I have to check on the GPS of split off what she did there in the end because Sara was one and a half minutes behind split off earlier this race. But then everything changed and uh suddenly Sarah caught up 2 minutes and now she in the finish she is ahead of the Danish. So this girl in the blue and white jersey could be the new world champion 31 years old. Wow. H it’s a bit difficult to say what has happened out there because we miss quite a long stretch of split offs GPS. The one we have is uh there I cannot see any mistakes. Uh this is a uh secret which we might find out at some place what has happened out there in the forest. Uh what is it that made split off becoming the second one in the finish so far and Sara the first one? Uh difficult to say uh but something must have happened out there. But what a performance by uh Sara that she simply just uh managed to uh race so strong and keep up that good performance all the way for one hour and 45 minutes or 38 minutes. uh to uh 1 hour and 33 minutes in the finish was her time to uh be able to uh go for the gold medal. Let’s go back to the forest. This is Camila Soard from Denmark. She is uh she was 20 seconds behind Osina Yaki at the second last uh radio control and uh so she is still fighting for a bronze medal here against the Swiss after her. I think the gap is quite big. It’s about 1 and a half minutes down to the fifth uh racer at the second last radio control which is Gabriel Gustafson from Sweden. So this is the fight for the bronze medal here. Camila Surgard against Wasina Yaki. Good job. Camila Cir now on the way around the last controls and she is uh by far not the last starter but probably the last last one going for or might going for a medal here. The race is super tight there at the moment. 34 years old the Danish racer. She is seventh at the world ranking right now and she got the silver medal in the massard race earlier this week. Now we also got a time for her from the split just uh prior to the finish and Sergot lost quite some time down to Yaki. So the fight is not on for a medal there anymore for Camila Surgod if we trust the split times. Um it seems that uh things look quite stable for the Swiss there. And now we are waiting for Tila Palm. She was about 1 minute and 20 seconds behind Wasina Yaki and behind the medals, the young Swedish athlete. So, we can expect her here at the last control in about a minute, I would say, if she hasn’t done a super fast uh last part of the race. But this could actually this could absolutely be a top uh six position for Tilda Palm from Sweden. Good job. And this is Camila Sergot now biking towards the finish. This is the second place for her when she crosses the finish line. the 34year-old biker from Denmark. She lost quite some time there in the end of the race. She was uh only 2 minutes and 20 seconds behind the leader at the second last radio control, but then at the last radio control, she suddenly was 5 minutes behind. And this is still a palm going for the fourth spot here so far. 3 minutes and 56 seconds behind leading Ruska Sarah from Finland and 1 minute and 10 seconds behind the medal medals. She already has a bronze medal from the sprint race earlier this week. This would have been her second, but for that she would have need to biked faster than uh wasina Yaki from Switzerland, which goes for another individual medal at the mountain bike world championships. She already has a gold medal as I have said earlier from 2012 and now she’s going for a bronze medal again so many years after that victory. She is still in the business, the Swiss athlete. And she’s not only in the business, but also doing great in the business. As you can see today, or as you could see today, we still have some athletes out in the forest uh waiting example, for example, for Gabriella Gustafson from Sweden. She uh is still a super interesting uh athlete to see. She has a she had a super tight fight with her teammate Tilda Palm at the second last radio control and we will soon know how this has developed later in the race. We also waiting for the dark blue dot which you can see there on the GPS right now. Alira Mikovi from Lithuania. She’s probably the athlete we can expect. Uh, next up towards the finish. Also, Marika Har from Finland still out there. She was doing really strong in the beginning of the race, but then lost some time in the first half of the race. Not going for the medals anymore today. And we’re also waiting for Italian athlete Iris Aurora Picari. Um not going for the medals either. She was about seven minutes down at the pre-warning control just ahead of the finish. And the pre-warning control is control 19 which you can see on the map. Oh man, it is coming. We are waiting for Alga Mikov from Lithuania. as she is about to approach the finish here. There we can see her with the white and red jersey going for eighth place as it looks at the moment. She is ranked uh number six in the world ranking but this week she was uh uh ranked between the spots number 12 and 14 in the individual races. 12th in sprint, 14th in middle stance and 12th on master. Today she is going for the best result this week so far. the Lithuanian athletes. Can see her there. She was uh doing super solid uh at the European Champs on home soil earlier this year where she got a bronze medal in sprint and was on fourth spot in middle distance. Uh she’s one of the athletes or one of the many athletes in uh mountain bike orienteering which also has a past in ski orienteering. She was uh racing many years for Lithuania many years as the only athlete from her team on elite level but now she’s only focusing on mountain bikeing and she’s doing that really well. I’m still trying to find out what has happened to Nicolina Splito in this race. What made Ruskasaril doing so well in the end of this race? Um at the second last uh radio control at the TV control where we saw them both of them split off was 1 and 26 ahead of Sarah. But then Sarah did so strong and suddenly at their pre-warning they switched positions. We don’t have the split times yet. So it’s a bit difficult to say but this will be super interesting to analyze later. As I said earlier the GPS was uh not working correctly there. So it was it is difficult for us to analyze as of now. But I am sure we will find out when this race is over. Now we are still focusing on the last athletes still out there fighting for the positions. Camila Gustafson from Sweden is one of them. And she has passed the pre-warning and she is uh she lost quite some time in the end of the race there as well also against her teammate Tilda Palm. They were head against had earlier this race but now Tila Pal has uh quite some lead about 30 seconds against her teammate Gustafson. So it looks that younger Tilda Palm is uh will be ahead of her older teammate Gabriella Gustafson in the finish. Gustafson now fighting for a fifth position as it looks on my screen. Yeah, you also can see the time there. The clock is ticking and she would need to show up basically now if she would if she wants to be able to beat her teammate. And uh she is not. There she is. There she is. But the time is out for Gabriella Gustafson. Still a rock solid race by the Swedish athlete. She has already two medals from this week today. Not another medal, but still a top six position diploma for Gabriella Gustafson. Fifth place for her. So this ladies and gentlemen is uh is it this is it basically for today’s race. All the top favorites are in the finish. And yeah, we’re waiting for Cecilia Christopherson, but she will not be able to get into the top 10 as it looks today. So, the top 10 places are basically decided. Ruska Sarella from Finland. Looks like she will be the new world champion in this longd distance race. She is leading as of now 18 seconds ahead of Nicolina Splitof from Denmark. And then on third place, surprisingly we’ll see Nayeki from Switzerland. What a strong performance by the Swiss athlete going for the bronze medal today. Fourth place young athlete Tilda Palm from Sweden. Fifth place Gabriella Gustafson also from Sweden. And then on sixth spot as of now is Constance Deer from France also. That is a super strong performance. She was sixth already in the sprint distance. Now she is repeating that rock solid race she has done there. But today was far longer than it as it was back then. She was fifth in uh at the European Champs in Lithuania show. So she has been doing better on international level before but still a diploma at the world championships is not what the 27year-old French athlete is uh getting every race. So this is a really good race by uh French athlete Constance De. Then further on seventh place Antonia Haga from Finland. Eighth place Camila Surgard from Denmark. Ninth place, Algioda Mikov from Lithuania. And 10th place, Marika Har from Finland. This is Cecilia Christophersonen from Denmark approaching to the finish. Not her best race this week. She has been doing better in the other individual races earlier this week. Position number 17 for her in the finish here. 33year-old athlete from Denmark. There we get an Another overall look at the results here in the finish. Ruska Sarah as I said is the new world champion in this longd distance race just ahead of Nicolina Splito from Denmark. Only 18 seconds uh in between them a super small gap. quite a lot of uh different nations in the top 20 here at this race. So it will be super interesting to uh see the relay tomorrow who will be the best team in the relay race. Uh the race will be broadcasted here in the IF live stream on YouTube also tomorrow and uh I’m looking forward to welcome you there again. Now it’s time to switch focus from the women’s race over to the men’s race. They have been racing for quite some time as well. The last athlete, Yan Hazek from Czecha, he was starting about 40 minutes ago. So this race is already on and we will soon have a look how the standings are so far. A lot has happened there for sure already and we have to catch up to understand how it looks over there. We have uh 76 athletes in the men’s field. Their course is uh 47.8 8 kilometers long, the shortest uh distance, 400 m of elevation, and as the crowd flies, the course would be 37.5 km. Waiting time also here is expected to be 105 to 115 minutes, but we already saw the girls uh performing much better than the expected time. The girls were uh about 15 minutes faster than what a course setter expected. And now we’re having a look at this men’s course of today. This super long course almost 50 kilometers uh the shortest uh distance if you follow the tracks. Also here we have some cameras out there for you. Control number 10, 15, 18 and 28 are our diva controls. Control number 15 is as we have seen in the women’s race, a uh control where the athletes pass the arena. So we will get a glimpse of how it is going for them. They will get some refreshments by their coaches and they will also ex exchange their map. a super long uh route choice there to control number 22 and then they will pass the uh road which the women did not do. Uh that’s one of the differences towards the women’s uh course as also eight more controls for the men on this super long race. We will have a look how it is going out there for the athletes at the first radio control where uh most of the athletes have passed. There are not not everyone but uh most of them only some few missing. We have uh Voytech Ludvik from Czecha in the lead more than a minute ahead of Bartos Nabielski from Poland. And then on third position there is Samuel Pocala from Finland. Further on on fourth position at this fourth first split time is Andreas Valdman from Austria and on fifth position we have Floren Neido from Switzerland. Sixth position Mikori from Finland and on seventh position Yan Hazek from Chia. Favorites in this race uh for sure the current leader at the first split time. Voytech Ludvik. He is uh the leader in the world ranking at the moment. He also won the mass start race earlier this week and he is the defending champion. He already won the gold medal in the long distance at last year’s World Championships in Bulgaria. The silver medal back then went to Andreas Valdman from Austria. He was uh on fourth position there so far. And uh this is uh yeah this is the split times from the the first split time as I have been talking earlier but Waltman was not uh ah I mixed it up there. Waltman was third there at the moment. Yeah, Pocala was uh behind him at the first split time and then uh I already looked at the second split time which is not relevant for you so far because what you see on your screen is the first split time. So both Ludvik who is the defending champion is doing super strong today and also the guy who is trying to defend his silver medal Andreas Waldman doing a super solid start here at this long distance race. Bartoilski from Poland who is also starting really well. A 24 year old youngster here on home soil. He got the bronze medal in the master race which was uh which led to quite some celebrations for the Polish team in the Finnish area. He was also doing really good in the other races. Eighth position in sprint distance and ninth position in middle distance and he’s uh ranked as number 13 in the world ranking. So he has been perforing stronger than his rank there. So he will probably gain some positions after this week. Also, Florin Schneider, the young athlete from Switzerland is surprising us today. He is amongst the top athletes there at the first split time. Um but uh yeah and his his um his performance this week were already quite uh strong or surprisingly strong. He’s only ranked 27th in world ranking, but he was 16 in sprint, uh 15th in middle stance, and 21st on masterart. But his world ranking is probably quite worse than his actual uh performance. And it’s a bit difficult to say what he’s uh what he is able to do. uh to do because he missed the anti-European champs uh in Lithuania due to Salmonella. So he was between toilet and bed while the others were fighting in the forest for European champs medals. He has a surprisingly good 12th position from Middle East last year at the World Champs in Bulgaria. So, Floren Schneido is surprising us super well at today’s long distance. Let’s see what the young Swiss athlete is able to show us here today. Here we get a glimpse of what the best athletes out there are performing in the beginning of the race. You can see Vludvik, the guy who was leading at the first or is leading at the first radio control just ahead of uh Kristoff Bogar and Barto Neielski from Poland there. Neielski is going for quite a different route choice down to control number eight. All of them are going for different route choices. Oh, this is super interesting to see. I don’t think that uh Polish athlete did the best route choice there. He is losing quite some time against the others. Ludvik still in the lead. Some certainties there for Bogar. And now he’s coming closer again. Maybe not that big of a time loss, but uh he’s still uh behind top athletes like Voytech Ludvik. There we can see Vit Ludwick at the Arena Passage. Impressive lead. 2 minutes and 36 seconds ahead of Bertoski. This is looking super super solid for the Czech athlete, the defending world champion. We are back out in the forest waiting for Samuel Pocala at control number 18, the third radio control, the first TV control. I’m sorry for that. He is approaching that control really soon and it seems that is going quite well for him out there. He was uh not amongst the top athletes at the first radio control, but then he was doing stronger and stronger and now he is amongst them. Samuel Pocala, the 35 years old athlete from Finland. He was fourth two times this week already both in Middle East and Mard. So I think he is really going or trying to go for a revenge today. He is also the defending European champion in masterard distance. The Finnish athlete Samuel Pocala So Nice. We are at the arena passage control again. Dear live stream viewers, we are waiting for Czech athlete Yan Hazek, 25 years old, ranked at the moment as number three in the world ranking and he had a fantastic world championships last year 2024 in Bulgaria where he got both the gold medal in sprint and masterart. a super weak for the check athlete. The world champs this year were not that bright yet for him since he’s probably going for the medals at a day like this. He was 12th in sprint, sixth in middle stance and 11th at Mastart. Also today he is losing quite some time already. Here you can see him 343 behind Samuel Pocala on third place at the moment. It looks like it could be a medal. I mean, he’s on the third position right now, but as we all know, there are more athletes out there in the forest. There you can see him preparing for the map exchange. It’s also time for some refreshments. Also, he is one he’s a former ski orienteering athlete now fully focusing on mountain bike orientering. There he is going for the second loop. Now we are deeper in the forest again at the third TV control waiting for Timu Gakson from Finland 26 year old. He was fourth in the sprint earlier this week and he got a bronze medal at the European Champs in Middle East. So absolutely an athlete who has the abilities to perform really well here as it looks right now. Going for a sixth position at this TV split there just behind Vorty Stransky from Chia. Hit him out. Another Hallelujah. As we can see on this GPS reive analyszis, the gap between Voytech Ludvvic and his opponents is huge. And this is also something that the split times confirm for us at the arena passage. Voytech Ludvik was uh quite some minutes ahead of Partoski. Um it’s about 3 minutes almost and you can see this really well on this uh analyzis as well that Ludvik is simply biking away from all his opponents. Uh you can see them behind him there. Both Kristoff Bogar and Bartoski Bogar is by the way uh cycling together with uh Andreas Valtman. and also Vortex Stranski, Hanes, Nilita and Noari. Quite a big group there biking together. It’s a bit difficult to see who of them is leading that group, but they’re all uh biking together. And it is Kristoff Bogar who caught up to all his opponents there. There we are waiting for him. Voytech Ludvik. And you can see Bartos Nielski is the current leader at the third TV split. And Ludwick, you can see him arriving there, has a huge gap. It’s 3 minutes and 12 seconds. This is so impressive to see. Look at his fantastic technique to turn around the bike. What a performance by the Czech athlete. 32 years old defending gold medalist as you could see also biking in a group there. So he has uh some opponents who try to keep up with the impressive speed of Voytech Ludik but uh as we could see in the women’s race u favorites can lose time as well. Uh Nicolina split off lost her gold medal on the last part of the race. So nothing is decided here yet, but the gap that Ludvik had also even grew. You can see here the gap at the Arena Passage was only 2 minutes 36 seconds. When we just saw him at the third TV split, it was over 3 minutes. So Ludvik is, as I said, he’s just biking away from the others. He is gaining time and time and time. What a impressive performance by the Czechathlete. back on the GPS analyzes and you can once again see that Vludik has quite a big gap. But what is far more interesting at the moment is the fight between Bartos Nielski and Kristoff Bogar for what I assume is a silver medal fight. Um, it’s a bit difficult to know because Kristoff’s bogar is not showing up on my split screens on my split time screen. Um, but as we can see on the GPS, he is uh slightly ahead of uh Boss Nibielski. It is uh difficult to say, but we assume it is like that. Um, so there we have a super uh tough fight for uh what could be a medal. What probably might be a medal. This is Paul De from uh France just getting into the finish here. A bit over two hours. His race time in this super tough long distance. Paul de 28 years old was 17th in the masterart race earlier this week. had a good 10th place at the last year’s World Championships over the long distance. Today is probably not uh the race today was probably not as good as it was one year ago, but still an impressive performance to bike that hard for over two hours here in this almost 30° hot Polish forests. Current leader in the finish is Florin Schneider from Switzerland. Waiting for Sheremy Pur. He will not be able to beat Schneido’s time in the finish but uh maybe the time of Oliver Freeze who is second at the finish so far. Jeremy Pur 27year-old athlete from France. He was 14th in the sprint earlier this week and then he was not on the result list for both middle stance and masterarch. But today he is back fighting for good positions I would say because uh there is no chance he will be going for the medals today. There we could see him. Shereipur from France going for the new second best time in the finish here in the arena. A race time just above 2 hours for the French athletes. For those of you understanding, Swedish, you could hear what the photographer out there was saying to the producer that uh Andre Haga is soon showing up at TV control number three. Haga has lost quite some time already. We’ll be fighting probably for a sixth position here. There he comes from the other directions than the others. Andre Haga 32year-old from Finland. He is ranked as number two in the world ranking. He also won the gold medal in middle distance race and the bronze medal in sprint distance. But today he lost some time earlier this race. So uh quite some time behind the medal so far but the race is still long for this top athlete. Might be chances to gain at least some places. We will see. This is Bartos Nielske from Poland on the way to 22nd control 23rd. I wonder if we will see a mistake or what are they showing us? No, that looks super solid by him. Yeah, nothing weird with that. Just doing some solid mountain bike orienteering there towards 27th control. When he arrives to the finish, he will probably be the new leader, the local athlete from Poland, Bartos Nabielski. Now it’s time for Yan Hazek arriving to TV split number three. There you can see him with the blue and white jersey, the black helmet there. He is turning around his bike at this control. 4 minutes and 6 seconds behind his teammate and current leader Voytech Ludvik but he’s still on a third positions position only about 50 seconds up to Bertoski Yan Hazakir 25year-old athlete from Czech Republic from Czecha biking towards maybe another medal we don’t know yet but this uh looks really strong by the tall and strong athlete from Chia. These are the intermediate results from this TV split number three which where we are located at the moment. Voytech Ludvig from Czecha in the lead. Now it’s going really fast. I hope you can read yourself through those split results. Jan Hazak was the last starter in today’s field. So those split times there on those split times there we are not missing any favorites. Um Hazek uh has caught up to Italian athlete Rosto but otherwise there are no top favorites behind him anymore. So the race is uh coming towards the decisive parts. This uh control where we saw them is control number 18 on their course. They have 28 controls. So 10 controls left. But there is also this super long route choice from control number 21 to 22. You cannot see it on the map right now, but it’s basically straight through the map. We’ll for sure have time to look at that one later as well. Boss Neielski, the Polish athlete is now on the way to the second last control. We can expect him at the finish super soon. Probably are quite sure that he is the new leader when he arrives to the finish. Thank you so Now The wait for the Polish supporters in the arena is coming towards an end as Barto Neielski is arriving at the finish. There you can see him passing the control super fast. Only some meters left until the finish line. And you can see that his gap down to current leader Florinido is impressive. Over 5 minutes at the moment. some meters left for him as well. But this could be a really really good position for the local athlete here. You can see you can hear the Polish supporters cheering for him. 15245 his time in the finish. I could see a smile. I there. Yeah, there was a smile. I hope he’s happy with that performance. This can uh this could be a medal for the 24 years old athlete. He has a bronze medal already from the mass start. Maybe another one from the long distance today. Yeah, it look he looks quite happy I would say but super exhausted for sure when out racing for two hours in the heat here just outside of bar so nobody can look relaxed after such a performance for Sure. Good luck. And there you can see the ongoing super tough fight between Kristoff Bogar and Barto Neielski. Oh, this is this is going to be so interesting towards the forest. Uh it looks like Bogar is slightly ahead of Nabilki. Yes, not just slightly but quite uh quite a bit quite some seconds at least. Bogar also on the way towards the finish. He has some athletes ahead of him as you can see there on the camera. He is biking together with Stransky from Czecha Valdman from Austria, Nilita from Austria and Riedto from Switzerland. They all approaching control 26 together or they have just passed it actually on their way to control 27. Super high speed in that group for sure at the moment. I would say slight advantage for Bogar here when it comes uh to his ongoing fight against or his ongoing virtual fight against uh Bartos Nabielski from Poland which already is in the finish about the race is uh over first in the finish. Let’s wait and see. And let’s wait and see what’s happening there. I uh assume it’s just a GPS mistake. Oh, he spoke about doing a mistake for real. We have to find out. And wait, that looked uh strange to my eyes. But what does not look strange to my eyes is the Finnish passage of Larry Malos from Estonia. Current fourth place 751 behind current leader Bartos Nielski from Poland. Malro 39year-old athlete from Estonia. He was fourth in the Middle East race earlier this week. doing super good there. The experienced athlete from Estonia So we are waiting. ing for Kristoff Bogar in the finish already. He was biking out there with a bunch of other athletes, but it’s a bit difficult to uh understand the GPS there and uh what’s uh happening. Oh, this is such an interesting race today. It’s such an interesting race. How will it go in that head-to-head virtual battle between Bogar and Nabielski? On this analyszis, it looks that Bogar has a a big advantage, but I think his GPS is also slightly strange. Um, I hope for him that uh things are going well out there. We’ll super soon see he’s not so far away from the finish anymore. He’s taking a different route choice as Bertoski as well took control number 27. Let’s wait and see. Go and DC Andreas Valdman from Austria. And when a Valdman is passing, Booga cannot be so far away because they have been biking together earlier. Yeah, there I think I can see this blue and white jersey, the red helmet. Yes, there he is. His Nitita there as well. Kristoff Bogar going for the new best time. He has uh one minute lead almost over Bartos Nebielski. there. The clock is for sure ticking, but uh the odds are on his side. This looks super good for Kristoff Bogar from Czecha, 31year-old athlete, the current world champion in the sprint distance. He got the gold medal earlier this week and today there might be chances for another medal. It looks super promising for the Czech athlete, but right now exhaustment for sure. These are the athletes who have been uh biking together for quite a while there in the end. big group. But this is the current leader here in the Finnish, Kristoff Bogar from Czecha. and as you can see on this analyzis things are going really well for Voytech Ludvik from Czecha out there. Boga and Nielski behind him and Ludvik is just going solid and solid from control to control. This seems that the gold medal is quite safe in his hands in the hands of Voytech Ludvik. if he does not do a mistake in the end of this race. Soon approaching to control 23 ahead of all his opponents then we’ll it will be also interesting to see what Yan Hazek and Samuel Pula are doing. Both of them are still out there racing. They are also in really good uh positions to fight for medals still. Let’s wait and see. And as you can see, Voytech Ludvik is not doing any mistakes. He is just doing what a professional athlete is supposed to do at the World Championships and that’s delivering a good and strong race. He’s doing so good out there. So good. No mistakes so far. And the race is on the the remaining race is getting less and less and shorter and shorter for him. This looks like the defending champion is the really defending his gold medal here. At the same time, it looks like Samuel Pocala is uh arriving towards the second last control. He was also in the fight for at least a diploma. We’ll s soon see him coming towards the finish and also Yan Hazek is now u biking up towards control 22. He was the last starter. So the race is slightly coming towards the end here. Now all eyes on Samuel Pocala from Finland. the 35year-old athlete who has been fourth two times this week already. There is actually a risk that the same thing will uh happen today as well. There we can see him coming towards the last control. Uh he’ll probably probably be even further down in the race south list in the end. Not a fourth position for him anymore because we know that there’s still stronger athletes out there. Uh second fight against Florin Schneido which he is winning 545 behind current leader Kristoff Bogar. Samuel Puka from Finland. Fifth position for him at the moment. Voytech. Ludvik coming closer and closer to the finish. Only two controls left for the athlete from Czecha and still no signs that anything is going wrong. You can see his opponent and teammate Kristoff Bogar there on the top of the map and you see that the gap in between them is huge. This must be this must be the gold medalist. There is no chance that someone else can do better today than uh Voytech Ludviki is uh doing really good and then it’s basically only Yan Hazek left out in the forest which has uh real chances for a top result I would say. Also, Andre Haga from Finland we are still waiting for. He’s also out in the forest and it will be quite a fight I think between Yan Hazek and for example Andreas Valdman from Austria. He’s already in the finish. Um maybe also between Nielski and Hazek. They were quite close together at the second last TV split. TV split number three. Only 54 seconds uh from each other. Nielski was in the lead there. Uh so we waiting and see. The race is not over. Uh when Ludvik is in the finish, there is still more interesting clashes in the field which we are going to broadcast for you here on the Yagf live stream from the World Mountain Bike oring Championships 2025 in Poland. Now only two controls left for a Voyek Ludvik. Turning to the right there towards control 27. And then we will soon spot him with our TV cameras down in the finish area. Now I got his split. I’m already more than three minutes ahead of Kristoff Bogar. He has a comfortable lead now for the right down for the ride down to the finish. 3 minutes and 2 seconds is the lead at the pre-warning control. There you go. see him racing so so fast. So the TV camera always almost almost missed him. Voyek Ludik from Czecha the new world champion and also the old world champion. The defending world champion is the new world champion. World champion. World champion. World champion. Voytech Ludvig from Czecha. 3 minutes and 8 seconds ahead of his teammate Kristoff Bogar. What a strong team performance as well by the Czech athletes. You can see Voyek Stransky still on fifth position and then Yan Hak will probably be somewhere in between all of them. This is promising for all the check for the relay tomorrow. What a strong race by this man here with the start number 173. The favorite was doing what a favorite is supposed to be. Now we’re waiting for another Czech athlete, Yiri Haril from Czecha. There he is. Another blue and white jersey coming towards the finish. Maybe even a top 10 position as it is of right now. There will be faster athletes later on. Not so many of them. He was one of the last starters only seven guys behind him but uh still also a really good race by the 39year-old. He is ranked as 22nd in the world ranking and today he will be more far better than that. Jiri Adil from Czecha ninth here in the finish. Bit more than 10 minutes behind his teammate Voytech Ludvik. Next athlete up to the finish is Fabiano from Italy. Not his best race today. He was doing better earlier this week with a sixth position in sprint and an eighth position in middle distance. The 29 years old from Italy. He is the defending world champion, the defending European champion, sorry, in sprint distance. He got the gold medal earlier this year in Lithuania. He also got a bronze medal last year in the master race in Bulgaria at the world champs. But today probably not a top 10 position for the Italian athletes Fabiano Betega. There he is approaching the finish. 10 minutes and 11 seconds behind current leader Ludvik. go just uh behind Jiri Radil which we saw coming to the finish earlier. Battle of seconds there for the ninth position it was. And as you can see he’s pointing towards the black tape on his uh left arm. For sure a really really difficult week for all the mountain bike orienteers, for all the orienteers in Italy, for the for all the orienteers around the globe with the loss of Matia Deolis at the World Games in Changdu in China. a really difficult week for all the orienteering sports this uh uh week especially for all those who know him for his family for sure. It’s uh hard to uh imagine how to be able to still continue and race world championships like this and focus fully out. It seems that it’s somehow worked out for Fabiano here with a Okay, race at least um somewhere at 11th place at the moment. Now we could see Ignas from Lithuania H into the finish on the ninth position 26year-old athlete. He was doing super good at the home European champs earlier this year in Lithuania with a fourth place in sprint and a fifth place in mass start a seventh place in Middleance. And now we are waiting for Yan Hazek. It seems that he has lost some time somewhere. Not going for the medals anymore. Yeah, you can see Andreas Waldman is far away and Waldman is fourth in the finish at the moment. So Hazek is uh probably fighting with his teammate Vortex Stransky for a fifth place. It looks like it will be the sixth place for Yan Hazik when he comes to finish. He seems to be a bit behind uh Stransky there on the GPS. Uh this is it. the dear spectators of this IOF live stream from the long-d distanceance race at the Wool Champs in Poland in mountain bike oring. You can see the result list here in the form of a GPS analysis Ludik already in the finish. He is the world champion uh just ahead of his teammate Kristoff Bogar. third place and bronze medalist representing Poland, Barto Nebielski, the athlete on home soil getting a bronze medal. And then on fourth place we have Andreas Valman from Austria. Behind him on fifth place, Voyekransky quite sure I would say already. And now we will probably have a new sixth place with Andre Haga coming towards the finish. He will not be able to keep this place if uh Yan Hazek continues to uh uh race without a mistake. Then he will be there around sixth spot in the end I suppose. But uh here in the finish at the intermediate time, he will be the new sixth place Andre Haga from Finland. done for today after almost two hours racing. Andre Haga from Finland, current sixth. The time didn’t really stop there, but we can all see that he is in the finish. So then we are waiting for Yan Hazek from Czecha, the 25year-old ranked number three in the world ranking. There you can see him. The last one turning around his bike in the blue and white jersey is Yan Hazek. I turn it out. There you can see the athletes avoiding the sandy ground to be able to race faster on the solid ground. Hazek now slightly behind the guys he caught up during the race on the way down to the last control. He’s uh really not far anymore. I don’t think he will be able to beat his teammate Vortystransky, but he will uh probably beat Andre Haga and go for a diploma here in this long distance race. There he is, the third one in this group. Yeah, here you can see him. overtaking his opponents here on the last meters. Yan Hazek, nickname Hanza, passing the finish line there on sixth position. And look at this team performance by the Czech team. This is amazing. Voytech Ludvik on spot number one. Christoph Bogar second, Stransky third and HK four uh Stransky fifth and Hazek sixth. This is um promising for the relay for the Czech team tomorrow giving them quite some pressure maybe to go into the race as a favorites. But I’m sure they will be h able to handle these situations. They’re all professional athletes. Strong solid performance by all of them today. Quite difficult for the coaches to choose the team. I’m unsure if they have already done it or if they will do it after this long distance race. For the athletes, for sure it’s focus on rest. Now, we will be back tomorrow for the relay race at 10:50 European Central European time for the broadcast, but I hope we’ll get a look at the final results here super soon. Yeah, here we go. Ludvik is the new world champion. Silver medalist Kristoff Bogar, third place from Poland. Bartoski fourth place Andreas Waldman Austria fifth place Vortex Transky Czecha sixth place Yanazaka seventh place Andreaga Finland eighth place Samuel Pa Finland ninth place Florenneido Switzerland and 10th place Hanes Nilita from Austria that’s also a really good performance by the 21 yearear-old from Austria he was 10th in the sprint already showing his talents super young athlete with a bright career ahead of him. Uh growing up in a real mountain bikeing family, his sister Jana was doing well as well in the women’s race today. Yeah, you could see the result list today.
