Bought it from a rich lady for $100. It was a little rough when I picked it up. New front tire, some grips, a little oil, and a brake adjustment. Maybe I overpaid, I don’t care. Super sturdy little bike that just feels awesome to ride.I take it to the river in my neighborhood. Bonus photo: a fish I caught the other day on one of my rides.

Focus on things that spin. Pull the wheels apart, remove the bearings and dried out grease, replace with new bearings and new grease. Cost will be $30 and $10 for tools. This is the biggest bang for the buck you can get on an old bike.
Replace the chain. for $15 and $10 in tools.
It will be like riding a new bike.

The chainstay brake is sweet. Nice color too. I don’t think you overpaid. A bike for $100 in this economy is a victory. That’s a loaded basket at a grocery store if you’re leaving with a bottle of wine.
