  1. Oh jeez i was 13 maybe 14 when i stared smoking alot and by 18 everyone knew i smoked times have changed i think less people will smoke because who would start smoking at the age of 18 if you hadnt already

  2. People that start smoking cigs/bud and drinking late (17+) always end up corny and go through addiction later than most. I swear starting at 12-14 is the meta for a reason.

  3. An 18 year old can buy an AR 15 but can’t smoke or drink. 😂 I guess that’s a good reason to not let them drink. Sooooo. Hear me out. Raise the age minimum to buy a gun and lower the drinking and smoking age.
The age requirement does nothing to stop kids from smoking and drinking anyway. I know. I used to be a kid.

  4. I was about to turn 18 and so happy to be able to buy backwoods and dutch masters for myself instead of having to rely on someone else and you have to pay them more to compensate unless they’re hella chill and then right before my birthday they changed the law to 21 and I was soooo pissed.

  5. Yep i was also 19 when that law changed 😅😅😅…. after i was already addicted to newports and juul…. still found a way to get them but total BS😢

  6. lol when I turned 18 in September 2019 I ordered weed right away. Not long after they announced they were raising the legal age to 21 and I was like wtf
    Edit: I’m in Quebec, Canada

  7. Ion know anyone since they changed it who actually waits till 21…like might as well change it back with all these MIPs they handing out. Gotta be a record high.

  8. I had my first cigarette at like 12-13…smoked weed for my first time not to long after that, and I’m now 18 and regret every life decision I ever made and feel myself moving closer and closer to cancer every single day😂😂😂

  9. I was 19 when the law changed i had a ton of money saved up for down payment on a car i took 1800$ of it and cleared out my local drug mart and drug mart town over by the time i got through all my ciggerates i wasnt even 21 but close go 21 ironically i switched to smoking seishers yea swishers because of how dry they are i got used to smoking dry tobacco i disliked a fresh pack of ciggerates

  10. Italian here, first cigarette was at a school trip in middle school when I was 12, then from 12 to 16 I used to ask to my friends for cigs until they went "Bro, just buy your own damn cigarettes". I'm 24 now on my eight year, from 18 to 21 I smoked 30 to 40 cigarettes a day, now I keep myself under 15. Classic european experience here.

  11. in my state (and in a small amount of states) you can still smoke legally at 18 despite having to be 21 to purchase. Ive been smoking mostly since i was 18 you can just have someone buy for you but i think it is ridiculous that you cant buy a pack of smokes. everything should be consistent for alcohol cigs etc.

  12. I just quit smoking after over 20 years. I started right after i turned 10 and smoked every day until almost 6 months ago and ill be 30 in august.

  13. As a Portuguese I had my first at 14, and then started smoking consistently at 16 (about a pack a day), by the time I was 19 I would smoke up to 2 packs a day, and in days with parties up to 4 packs
