Hello everyone. I decided i want to do an ironman 70.3 in the future. That means I have to buy a bike. I know nothing about them. I am new to this and I need your help. I know that for an ironman you need a road bike. My dads friend is selling this one and I think this is a gravel? Can you turn gravel bike into a road bike? Is this even a good bike? I am lost here really. Any kind of help is appreciated. I am from Europe if that matters.

Just finish?
For road bikes size is critical, make sure what ever you get fits, tons of online resources to help you figure that out.
Assuming this one fits you, it would be a nice first bike as you figure out what you really like, and if you prefer something more tri specific.
