This is why you should have lights plural, as its much less likely that both sets will run out at the same time.
Dynamo on the commuter bike, so I just switch the lights on whenever they are needed.
Thanks. Literally need to do it, but I’ve had a really busy day yesterday and forgot it needed a charge. I just use it to be more visible to the drivers during the day, so it’s not a *big* issue, but yeah, I’d rather have it.
It’s also a good idea to switch them on before you think you need them to be seen. It can be hard to realize how hard you are to spot if you don’t have other cyclists or pedestrians in the vicinity, displaying what the situation is like.
