Been going through some tires lately as I started to practice skidding because I want to be able to ride my brakeless build with confidence. 17:48 so I get 17 skid patches (ambidextrous or not). After that tire i want to try 18:49 to see if those extra 19 patches as an ambidextrous skidder will prolong the life of the tires noticeably.

You deserve a pun****e for getting a coloured tyre. 😛
You are only suppose to skid for fast braking most of the time you can reduce speed with backpedaling only.
take chain off cog, rotate wheel a bit, put chain back on
I used to run the cheapest possible tires in the rear because of this when I was riding a lot.
Higher quality tires will last longer, but it can still be kind of a waste if you skid a lot.
Also here’s a nice skid patch calculator for anyone new and wondering how they know how many skid patches there are: [https://www.surplace.fr/ffgc/](https://www.surplace.fr/ffgc/)
Tipo Pista 💪
Bluetooth break caliper, nice 👍
I have 18 skid patches but always and up with the same result as you. I guess that’s already 2 or 3 patches joined together.
we have the same frame i love that frame so much
I like those odds
