Been looking a few years for a 750 to rehab…when a $50 790 showed up on Marketplace so I went with $100 offer as I knew there’d be other offers potentially(but I’m still thrifty as hell). Original owner, seems to be low ish miles. Drivetrain was probably never cleaned as it was caked but it cleaned up nice and had original brakes I think.
Likely will be a flat bar gravel bike with 38-42mm tires.
True Temper, the geometry, gorgeous paint, retro vibes from my first Trek 830…LOVE it.

If you go to an auto paint store for touch-ups, let me know what the closest match is. My 790 was stripped and rattle canned. I haven’t been able to see one in person to get a feel for a close match.
