Hello everyone, I recently bought a second hand bike and while I testing the shift after cleaning all the pulleys the chain came out and I am no longer able to restore the original working condition. I removed the whole thing but without any progress. What I have done wrong? Thank you in advance!

On that hook attached to the derailleur you’ll notice there’s some threads. Usually there’s a piece that attaches to the back of that and a screw goes through it. You then slide it onto the dropout and then tighten the derailleur to the frame. Then you can put the derailleur on. If you don’t have those parts then you can just force it all together but it’s not going to be the best
Kinda hard to figure out hut the chain wasnt put on the right pulley 1st
Scrap this bike – and go get another one in better shape.
