Pagachar’s absence changes everything. The fight for the red jersey wide open. This is the perfect fix, especially after the show that was the tour to France. The man to be on most people’s radar, it’s Jonas Vingod, the DNE. Second at this year’s Tour to France, and he’s hungry for another Grand Tour victory besides the Tur to France. And well, Spain’s calling. But UAE isn’t showing up empty-handed. Xiaoida, the Portuguese rider, is steady and deadly over three weeks, and he should be strong after crashing out of the tour to France. Wanayuso, the Spaniard, explosive in the mountains and ready to lead and win on home

Almeida is not on Jonas's level I think, we'll have to see if the Dane is not too tired
Ayuso will be a menace for sure, really great Vuelta we'll have 🔥
Cant Sepp defend it? I know Jonas is hungry
It’ll actually be worth watching because Pogacar is not in it.
Obviously Jonas will win. Nobody except Lipowitz is around his level. Jonas is top class. Just for reference Jonas Vingegaard had at the age of just 17 years old an officially measured Vo2max of 97 💀
Almeida looked very strong this year, but I’m not shure if he’s able to compete in a 3 week race, he often struggled with sick days during a grand tour.
