Ordered an endurace AL 8 disc a few days ago and it arrived today. This is the first new bike I’ve purchased and the most expensive one I have purchased. I usually buy older used bikes. I noticed on the box that it was an AL 7 and came with fulcrum racing 800 DB wheelset vs the wheelset it’s advertised with. Other than that I don’t see any difference. Considering the level of similarity I am unsure if I should contact canyon about this. I ordered from the USA

If you’re unsure how to feel it means it’s not a problem!
Isn’t the 8 supposed to bring either force or ultegra vs the 7 is shimano 105 or sram rival level?
I talked to canyon and they said per the serial number it is an 8. They sent me the following link to lookup by serial number [https://www.canyon.com/en-us/gear/components/spare-and-wear-parts/spare-wear-parts/?serialNumber=R07401AD23D2745](https://www.canyon.com/en-us/gear/components/spare-and-wear-parts/spare-wear-parts/?serialNumber=R07401AD23D2745) .They said the box was mislabeled
The AL 8 in the US is the same as the AL 7 in EU I believe, just rebranded for the US market. I remember seeing some threads here about that.
Curious how your frame welds look? If you got smooth welds consider yourself lucky that you got the EU version!
