Hello,
Well, I strike again. My over confidence and YouTube making everything sound so easy… I managed to get my air shock air locked when try to replace my volume spacers.
I assume this happened due to me bleeding pressure too fast?
It’s locked pretty good. I can slide it with some serious force, but not enough to get it together.
Is there any way I can bleed pressure from the chamber to release the lock? Maybe a feeler gauge or something thin to slide under the o-ring?
The shock is a Bomber Air.
I’m not opposed to walking into the bike shop with my tail between my legs… I’d love to be able to fix it myself so I can get riding.
Any help would be appreciated!

I have no clue how to help you, but I just wanted to say way to go for attempting it yourself. You remind me of myself and I always figure things out so I know you will too. 👍
You first start by taking it off the bike. Should have done that in the first place. Watch the can might kick when free it up. After that. You can usually get the can down and threaded on a hard surface.
Turn rebound full slow. Push down on seat or have buddy sit on bike. Thread can on. Have buddy sit on tire. Pull up on seat.
If that fails you can insert a a very thin needle or tool under the seal to relieve the negative pressure.
Never use youtube it has far too much incorrect information. Use the service document from the manufacturer they tell you how to do it correctly without killing yourself.
