I put about $60 into this bike in all. It was free as it was left where I live before I moved in. It's a cheap 7 speed Chinese city bike. I changed the derailer and the shifter and poorly tacked on a bunch of gaudy crap. But now I am easily seen in the dark on my way to and from the shops and ponds. The part I'm most proud of is honestly the net. I made that custom to fit the collapsing produce bin.

How do you throw your leg over that rear bin. I know I’m old but I could never get on it
Good work! You’ll definitely be very visible from behind with that setup. Looks nice.
Maybe add a front basket, to help balance the load? Handling could get a bit squirrelly when you get a lotta weight in the rear.
