I've got an almost 5-year-old and he's really fallen in love with biking — in no small part to our near-daily bike commuting with him on our Benno Boost for the last year plus. I want to find ways to connect our family to biking I just learned about DC Family Bikefest.
I live about 6 hours away from Washington, DC, so I'm not sure I'll make. But it makes me want to organize something like this in my community.
Any events like this in your community that I could look at to get some ideas of what they could be like?

I would ask around any local social rides, critical mass or the like. I havent seen anything like that locally here, though I also tend to go on the less sedate family rides which may select against that.
