I wanted to see if it’s possible to write 100 kilometers on my bike in under three hours so we got the bike ready and did our preparation always pump your tires up get your ride nutrition ready you’ll definitely need it we would essentially have to average 33.3 kilometers per hour for the entirety of this course smashed out the first third of this ride averaging a whopping 37 kilometers an hour and even had time to stop for a cheeky drink the next third was going to be a whole lot tougher to keep that speed up though as we hit the hill if you’ve ridden your bike uphill you know that you don’t go very fast this brought our average speed down to 31.8 so we needed a quick nutrition Pit Stop caffeine is an obvious performance enhancer than we need some quick carbs in as well as assaults to stop further cramping final third was an absolute disaster we hit just about every traffic light I had a headwind for 35 kilometers which makes you move extremely slow when you’re by yourself and to top it all off I was cramping the whole time and in extreme pain these aren’t really valid excuses I’m just not fit enough so we definitely got some work to do missing out by 26 minutes

With strava auto pause lol doi 3 hours non stop thats a ride
Nice! 👍
I've clearly been eating fries the wrong way this entire time
100 km in 3:30 non stop
I go 10kmh uphill bro wtf?
Get them fries in lad
Why stop 2 times…..its only a 100 🫣
Every stop counts to real time riding. Be true to yourself and train a bit harder. With a couple of month of structured training you will be there The material is already at its best so no need to change anything here. Work on you aero position and ride with more solid / constant power. With you weight you will probably need about 220W/3h to stay on target.
your beard is not aero.
Love the honesty at the end
I biked 3 miles with my uncles bike that has an slow sprocket and rusty texture i know that its not much impressive but now my legs are shaking and the max speed is 10 miles per hour
Which bicycle model is that? It looks perfect
im not trying to go this hard but i kinda wanna do something stupid… i wanna ride a bike to a friends house… not so bad right hes 3 states away LOL sooo ummm i needed some kinda refrence point too see if 100 miles a day was doable on a bike seems like it if i lose weight atleast
What about 100 km ride on mtb?
Bruh I’m literally fat and I do 1hour 40km on a old mountain bike, ride without the lights mate
BEST BIKE FOR A LAZY MEN
Be hard to do if the roads not flat for 100kms
Did it twice last year 2:37:05 and 2:44:11. I wouldn't even consider myself an average rider. The key? Do it in a large race with plenty other people around, to take advantage of slipstream on a track without much elevation! 😀
First time I did 100km on my own back in 2022 it took me 3:38:28 as well. ^^
Eating Maccas mid ride is diabolical
If you really did pump your tyres up to 100+ psi, you will go faster with a lower pressure that is just ridiculously high.
When a guy that is shredded says “not fit enough” it makes you wonder if you made a mistake signing up for one a month out from getting your first bike as an adult lol. Fuck it. Just gonna send it
Stopping every hour ??? Jeepers ….. a 3 hour ride can be done eating and drinking on the bike, and you'd have smashed the 3 hours
😂😂 it took me nearly 2hrs for 40k on a mtb
Do it on a metal bike, no carbon and knock off the fucking bodybuilding. YOU CYCLE OR LIFT WEIGHTS! NOT BOTH!
this is extremely impressive for a jacked cyclist. I'm also a bit jacked but only weighs 165 pounds and the best I can do is 3 hours and 40 minutes.
You need flat course, and good wind conditions… For sure it possible
How many minutes were you stopped for water and food? Im assuming you left the clock running for those stops?
Ba mancatiasi gura ta de biciclist, ba , am incercat sa merg 50 km traseu și mi-a luat 5 ore.Din cauza ta era să leșin pe drum de 3 ori.
I cant even last 30mins for 30kmh i fucking suck
This does not count with stops. Jesus man. Where is your dignity? 😂😂
We hit 160km in a group in 4h14m a week ago. Very fun, very hard.
It's okay to recognize your limits when trying a new challenge. Past few times I went cycling, I averaged 15-20km per ride, but sticking to a good 15km for the month. My trick is just doing it in small increments, so +1-2km everytime in order to build up tolerance much like training for exhaustion in a gym.
