Do you suck at cardio? If you want to get better at middle distance, try this method develop your ability your ability to cover anywhere between 1 and 5kms quicker

let me tell you about the hardest workout that I’ve done in months this workout is based off something called the Norwegian method which the Norway running team developed to improve V2 Max you can do this with any modality so I’ve decided to do rowing and exercise bike today but the principles are the same you’re going to go as hard as you can for 4 minutes so trying to keep your heart rate at about 85 to 95% of its Max then you’re going to have 3 minutes break and you’re going to Pi that for four sets I think the hardest part is finding that pace to stick up because it feels really easy at the start to do like 1,300 1,400 calories but I’ve drops down pretty quick and around that 90c Mark you sort of find your second win so I found on the rower I was sticking at around 1,200 calories on the bike I find it much easier to look at the RPM so the Reps down the bottom leand corner anything over 90 I was pretty happy with if you have any energy to pick up the pace and Sprint at the end you did not go hard enough for the rest of it

  1. no way are you going hard as you can for 4 minutes straight. that’s ridiculous. your standards for ‘hard as you can’ don’t mean anything here

  2. That saddle needs to come down a bit. You don't want hip rocking. Saddle sores are a real bummer.

    Maybe check a few quick bike fit vids. It will save you unnecessary soreness and joint wear/injury.
