Hello everybody,

I need some new brake pads for a ~2100 km bike tour I have planned in september. I have always run resin brake pads, but read on bikepacking.com that they recommend metal for the longevity.

What are your preferences and does anybody have a reference for how long a set of resin pads lasts? Our tour is mostly on roads and we have about 1000m of elevation (and descending) per 100km.

I also have the problem that I run Juintech F1s wich use Shimano M06, wich I can only find in metal if I wanted to buy Shimano, but there are aftermarket / no name resin pads and Decathlon sells semi metallic pads.

Thanks for any advice!
