I am new to cycling and have 2 used cannondales. Do you think the chainrings need to be replaced? I already purchased new chains and cassettes, but didnt know if I should try to replace the chain rings as well.

Those have very minimal wear. Teeth patterns on rings and cassette cogs look funky but they are shaped like this on purpose to aid in shifting.
