So, we’ve just got back from Center Parcs, where my wife got on a bike for the first time in 20 years and rode it several times per day for the four days we were there.
Turns out she loves it (wahoo!!) and she loved the style of bike she was on… not so wahoo.
The kids and I enjoy riding trails, as well as some canal paths, but the type of city bike my wife was riding at Center Parcs seems like it would be a bit of a nuisance if we all went out together.
So, I am wondering what you guys would suggest? Do they make off-road capable city bikes? Would it make sense to get her one with an electric motor to support her up hills (since the seating position is not great for pedalling) or do you think one of these would just be fine how it is and just make sure it has some good tyres?
