with several riders back in who’d already been dropped during hard racing before the incident. One of those riders won, Ben Turner first to the line and quite rightly celebrating. Now, that’s not the rider or team in question’s fault. Turner was allowed to race, so he did race and race better than anybody else. But there will have been raised eyebrows for other teams, managers, and owners. Given all the investment and work that goes into every race, often every single watt that’s put through the pedals. The neutralization for safety was no problem. And let’s be honest, welcomed. But then once underway, to pretend that the previous chunk of the stage didn’t happen, let everyone start again on the same time and in the same group. A strange one though.
