Tires can drastically change speed of bike. I love gravel slicks or almost slicks. Depends on terrain and conditions of your rides

i have a Kona Rove DL (2022) which i have upgraded steadily over the past few years. I’ll list the upgrades in ascending order of cost:
– new handlebar tape – €20
– new stem (for a more aggressive position) – €20
– new handlebars (more aggressive position and more comfort, also I found the stock bars stupidly wide) – €35 (pro discover 12 42)
– new tires (set up tubeless) – running a specialized tracer pro 47mm up front and tufo thundero 48mm rear – €50 for each tire + €30 for valves and tubeless sealant
– garbaruk derailleur cage (€130) + 11-50 cassette (€240) which has really helped me on some bike packing trips and ultra races
– new wheels (hunt 4 season all road) – €300
– new carbon fork (seido mgv) – €370
– new brake levers and calipers (rival 1) for hydraulic braking – €450
could have almost bought a new bike for those upgrades but I like swapping things out as they break and I absolutely love the frame
